I want to be an army Officer

As a child I went to Dhaka with my father. That time was December 16 Victory Day.

 On that day, an army parade was held at the National Parade Ground. Infantry, air force and navy troops took part in the grand parade.

I had the opportunity to watch the parade. I was surprised to see that ceremony of the army. What kind of weapons of the three forces, what a beautiful dress. How disciplined.

 They were all marching with their chests full and saluting the President, then I joined in the applause of the audience and applauded. What I did not like. I thought to myself, if only I could be one of them!

Ever since then, I have dreamed of becoming a senior officer in the army.

Now I am in fourth grade. I have learned a lot. Learned to understand.
I like the work, movement, discipline of the army very much.
 One of my uncles served in the army. I have been hearing many stories about the army from him since childhood. In 1971,

I heard the story of the heroism of our army. Tears came to my eyes when I heard the story of their sacrifice for the independence of Bengalis by leading the war of liberation. Our army led the liberation war to liberate the country.

The freedom fighters have been martyred. Many in the army have been martyred while fighting like heroes.

Uncle said the members of the army are dedicated to the service of the country. Seniors or officers never hesitate to obey orders.

Hearing all this, my desire has become stronger. In Chachu's words, I understood that to be a great officer in the army, I have to work hard. You have to study well. Adults must be respected. Their orders must be obeyed.
