The mind did not mean his parents. When Srikanth was a little older, his parents took him to work in farming. But is it possible for him to work? Sent to school. Rose used to go to that school five kilometers away from the blind Srikanth school, but he did not learn anything. But he wanted to learn everything.
It was learned that there are schools in Hyderabad where there is darkness like Srikanth.
Leaving his village home in Machilipatnam, Srikanth walked 250 km to a blind school in Hyderabad. The sadness of his mind was cut off. Here he can play, read, understand everything. He had read about light, now looking for that light in the pitch black darkness became his only addiction. Srikanth fought.
This time Srikanth wanted to do a bachelor's degree in IIT Engineering. But no coaching center agreed to train him. Completely blind people are not even allowed to sit in the IIT joint entrance. He started sending applications to educational institutions abroad.
Then at the same time he got the opportunity to visit four famous places in America like MIT, Berkeley, Stanford and Carnegie Mellon. With a full scholarship from MIT, he became the first completely blind student of that educational institution to succeed in engineering and management.
To him then the tempting job call of world famous corporate companies! But ignoring them, he returned to India, to his own land. His main duty was to open a school for the training of the blind in Hyderabad. It was opened. He has found the search for light.
Then he started looking for blind people like himself. Everyone must share the light! Not only education but also provision of bread and butter for them. Who will give work to the blind! Therefore, he became an entrepreneur himself. Created the project. Ratan Tata was amazed to see his project and listen to him. They have a variety of environmentally friendly packaging products. Success came at meteor speeds. Today, there are a total of four factories of 50 crore bolant industries. Two in Hyderabad, one in Nizamabad, the other in Hubli. Only blind and physically challenged people work in this organization.
While attending school in Hyderabad, Srikanth, after meeting the then President, the venerable APJ Abdul Kalam Azad, said that his dream was to become the first blind president in the history of India when he grows up.
Whether that dream will be fulfilled remains in the womb of the future.
Now Srikanth Bolla is an inspiration. The name of an ideal.
